Marilyn (AKA – Mary) has lived in Maryland all of her life, residing in Crofton for the last fifteen years. She is a dedicated full-time professional who has been with the same employer for over twenty-five years. Occasionally, she also works part time for caterers in the Annapolis area. Her full-time and part-time responsibilities have given Mary a lot of experience in planning events and parties.
Mary is also very involved with her community. She volunteers for the Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services as a mentor for “at risk” children , as well as, helping other groups to provide and prepare dinner at a local shelter for homeless and in-transition families. Ongoing, Mary is involved in organizing groups to volunteer and raise awareness of different organizations throughout the area. (e.g. SPCA, MS Foundation, Children’s Cancer Foundation). Mary’s interests include spending time with family and friends, any activity near the water, trying new restaurants , attending festivals, volunteering, cooking, shopping, hiking, taking day trips, going to the movies and meeting new people.
