Over 20 members and guests gathered for the chapter’s quarterly Meet & Greet. Ladies enjoyed the themed-event, End of Summer Wine-d Down, with wine specials along with other drink deals. All members and guests were entered into a raffle for fantastic prizes donated by CHANEL and Pretty Penny Nails.
Prior to the start of the raffle drawing, a surprise announcement was made. Little Black Dress Club of Lincoln-Way has been asked by CHANEL to host a premier event on November 21st. The chapter is the first one to EVER host this type of event with CHANEL. The CHANEL rep gave a little history about Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel including the fact that she marketed her signature red lipstick in empty bullet casings and her signature little black dress was worn with beads draped down her back. The CHANEL rep then announced that each lady in attendance would receive a free makeover (worth $25). CHANEL raffle items were given away. A gift basket was given away by Pretty Penny Nails, where the event will be hosted. |
The first ten lucky members who registered for the Meet & Greet left with goodie bags filled with Amy Peterson Chocolates (that will be served at the CHANEL event), a personalized LBDC wine glass charms from Denra Designs, a wine glass and picture frame.
